Do Not Grow Weary

Scripture

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9

Observation

God promises us that if we continue to do good, we WILL reap. However we will not necessarily begin to reap the first time we do good. It takes time. There are seasons of sowing and seasons of reaping. But eventually God promises that we WILL reap if we continue doing good.

Application

Based on God’s promise, I will continue to do good. I will love God with all of my heart, serve and encourage others, tithe and give, and do good today. I will not lose heart even if I don’t see an immediate return because I know God is faithful and in due season I will reap a reward.

Prayer

Father, strengthen us today to do good. Help us to never grow weary and back off from being generous with our time, talents, & treasures. We will do good today and bring You glory. In Jesus name, amen.

This directly affected me and I would like to thank you. Most times, I unequivically know who I am in Christ; however, as of late I have grown a little weary. Thank you so very much for this reminder, it picked me right up.

Thank you! I needed this today.
