“We do no know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.” 2 Chronicles 20:12

Observation

Israel faced a daunting task of going to battle against a much larger and superior army. Defeat looked like it was in the Israelites near future. However, as they took a position of humility and cried out to God they put themselves in a position of strength as they relied on God.

Application

I must learn to cry out to God in total reliance. When I put my total reliance on God I put myself in a position to have God move on my behalf. Humility and reliance on God is where I can find my position of strength.

Prayer

Father, thank you for your promise to be my strength even when I’m my weakest. I also thank you that you promise to be with me even in the darkest times of my life. Please help me to find my strength and confidence as I put myself in total reliance on you.
