Keep Clear

Scripture


Acts 24: 16 “So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.”

Observation


Paul is being accused of wrong doing and brought before a judge, Felix. Paul defends himself yet does not back down from His belief in Christ. Keeping my conscience clear is a big deal to me. Even though I am aware I will not make everyone happy I still desire to lay my head down on the pillow every night with a clear conscience. Even though what I did throughout the day may have not been easy, it was still the right thing.

Application


Do the right thing. Respond the right way! I cannot always help what has happens to me but I can make the right choices and treat people the right way. To keep my conscience clear before God and man.

Prayer


Father, help me to live a life that keeps a clear conscience before you and man. Help me to treat people and problems with the honor and respect you would want me to treat them with.

    Amen Pastor Jason. That was awesome and so worth hearing. It is nice to know that we all struggle with issues like this. Make the right choice and keep my conscience clear before the Lord is the only choice for me.
