Scripture
“I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.” John 10:16

Observation
One very important characteristic that is common to members of Jesus’ “flock” is that they hear His voice. No matter what their culture, religious background or personal experience, each one hears His voice and is brought into the wonderful fellowship of Jesus’ flock.

Application
My part is to tune my heart to hear His voice – to quiet the static and noise that so easily distracts from that “still small voice.” The Good Shepherd speaks through His Word so it is vital for me to remain right here, in this Bible, displacing all the cluttered thoughts and ideas with His Truth. As I do this He is able, by His Spirit to take that truth and apply it in my life in whatever way He desires.

Prayer
Jesus, You are my Shepherd and I want to hear Your voice. I determine to stay in this Book, Your Word, so that You will have plenty to work with when You want to speak to me. I love you God and am so grateful for Your grace toward me and Your commitment to speak to me. Amen
